What is ETHBoston?
ETHBoston is an event bringing together some of the top minds and experts in Ethereum and ETHGlobal’s first hackathon in Boston. We enable teams to make something great in only 36 hours by providing an abundance of hacking resources like mentors, sponsors, and software. Sleeping is optional, but trying to make awesome things is not.
Anyone from anywhere in the world can apply. Applications are based on interest in Ethereum and proven ability to #BUIDL - whether that’s writing software, designing beautiful UXs, product management, or something else entirely.
Admission to ETHBoston is completely free to hackers! We take care of all your meals, wifi, snacks, and drinks throughout the weekend too!
ETHBoston is free-of-charge thanks to the support of our partners and sponsors but, unfortunately, the event is not able to cover travel or other expenses for attendees.
You can form teams of up to 4 people. There are no restrictions for team members, so you can team up with hackers of any country or experience level!
No worries! It’s helpful to have some programming or technical experience, but it’s not a requirement. We’ll have talks, mentors and workshops to help you with your project; hackathons can be a great place to learn new skills in a short amount of time. Just come eager to learn, excited to meet lots of awesome people, and most importantly, come ready to #BUIDL.
No. In the interest of fairness, attendees should not be working on their projects before ETHBoston begins and we do not allow participants to work on pre-existing projects. However, you can familiarize yourself with all the tools and technologies you intend to use beforehand!
